StreakHue Fall – Kavya D’Souza

My unabashed love for jewellery is no big surprise for you by now but a recent visit to the Jaipur Jewels store at Napean Sea Road had me fall in love, all over again. And there can possibly be no better time than the auspicious day of Dhanteras to share my rendezvous with some of the most beautiful jewels I’ve ever gotten my hands on.

Jaipur Jewels with its rich legacy dates back to 1966 and is renowned for their exclusive in-house designed bespoke pieces. The Kanaka Collection by Jaipur Jewels is their latest launch just in time for Diwali and when I visited the store as a member of the POPxo blogger network, I was nothing less than awestruck by what I saw. Right from intricate pieces from rings and bracelets to jhumars and necklaces – the Kanaka collection pays a tribute to the tradition of south indian gold jewellery paired with superior Rajasthani craftsmanship. Call me biased because of my part south indian genes (bet you didn’t know this bit earlier!), temple jewellery is my absolute weakness when it comes to gold and you can thus imagine my absolute joy at the prospect of styling these stunning jewels. The Kanaka Collection is as perfect for a new bride to be as it is for a woman who treasures and values heritage, compelling detail and a story behind all her jewels. The best part about this collection is how all the pieces individually are as versatile and impactful as when stacked and layered together. Also, I can totally imagine doing an all out traditional look with these pieces as also a more contemporary and fusion look. If looking to make some rather valuable additions to your jewellery collection, a visit to the Jaipur Jewels store is a must this season.Don’t forget to follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also view their collections on their website.

Happy Dhanteras to you all!
