The Jaipur Jewels Story : Gone Gold

Updated: Sep 13, 2019

As much as we love and drool over international high fashion and ready to wear street style, we think we can safely speak for every Indian girl when we say there’s no escaping the beauty and love we share for traditional jewellery and Indian fashion.

When we first walked into the Jaipur Jewels showroom, we literally could not control our gasps out of excitement. Every single piece told a story, everything had a history. There were necklaces and earrings that were around 200 and 300 years old, jewellery that was worn by princesses. Each design just took us back in time. What more could a girl really ask for?

At the store we were also told that ‘Akshaya Tritya’ was around the corner, which is basically a festival of gold. Buying and wearing gold on that day signifies wealth and prosperity. We immediately decided that our next post absolutely had to revolve around their historical gold jewellery.

From minimal-chic and Indo-edgy to the classic Indian, we decided to show you guys a variation of styles in which you can wear this beautiful jewellery.
